LOWEST VOLTAGE ANALOG TEMPERATURE SENSOR IN AN SC70 PACKAGE

SUNNYVALE, CA-June 3, 2002-Maxim Integrated Products introduces the MAX6613, a precision low-voltage analog temperature sensor designed for cost-sensitive, low-voltage consumer, medical, industrial, and PC-related applications.

The MAX6613 provides 1.3°C (max) accuracy with a 1.8V to 5.5V operating voltage. With a 7.5µA nominal current consumption at 1.8V, the MAX6613 is designed to minimize battery cost in portable applications. The MAX6613 is stable with any load capacitance from 0pF to 1000pF.

The MAX6613 is pin compatible with the LM20 and provides superior accuracy, lower minimum supply voltage, and better capacitive load tolerance.

The MAX6613 is available in a tiny 5-pin SC70 package. The operating temperature range is from -55°C to +130°C. Prices start at $0.35 (2500-up, FOB USA).
