MAX5921/MAX5939为热插拔控制器,允许将板卡安全地插入工作的背板里。MAX5921/MAX5939工作在-20V至-80V,非常适合于-48V电源系统。这些器件引脚与LT1640和LT4250兼容,并提供改进、优于那些器件的性能。
MAX5921/MAX5939提供板卡的受控接通,防止对板卡连接器及板上器件的损坏,避免电源端上产生电压瞬变。MAX5921/MAX5939提供欠压、过压和过流保护。这些器件保证输入电压稳定并保证给负载上电之前处于容许的范围。
MAX5921和MAX5939在故障条件下通过关断外部MOSFET,使系统避免过流和短路。MAX5921/MAX5939通过限制负载电流至安全级别,而不是切断负载电源方式,来实现输入瞬间过压保护。
这种器件具有漏极开路电源就绪输出功能,/PWRGD或PWRGD用于使能下游的转换器(参阅完整数据资料中的选型指南 )。还包括内置热关断功能,在过热情况下保护外部MOSFET。MAX5939具有锁定故障输出,而MAX5921包括故障后的自动重试电路。
MAX5921/MAX5939采用8引脚SO封装,两种器件均满足-40°C至+85°C的扩展级温度范围。
