MAX1973/MAX1974是工作在1.4MHz固定频率的脉宽调制(PWM)、电流模式、降压型稳压器。输出电压通过外部分压电路调节至0.75V或预置为1V、1.5V (MAX1974)、1.8V或2.5V (MAX1973)。MAX1973还具有电压裕量特性可以使输出电压提高或降低4%，简化板级产品的测试。

1.4MHz的固定工作频率确保芯片工作在DSL频带之外，可提供快速瞬态响应、并且允许选用更小的外部元件。在1A应用中输入和输出端只需使用4.7µF的陶瓷电容。强制PWM操作模式保证开关频率在各种负载条件下保持恒定。

输出电压在整个负载、输入及工作温度范围内保持±1%精度。MAX1973具有电压裕量特性，MAX1974的电源就绪(POK)输出用于指示输出电压是否达到标称电压的90%。两者均采用微型10引脚µMAX®封装。
