Definition

亮度转换函数的应用。伽玛函数通常是非线性函数, 但它是单调的，分别影响强光(白电平)、中间亮度(灰度级)和阴影(黑电平)。

常用于发光设备调节，例如：显示器, 使其与人眼的亮度曲线相匹配。也就是说：伽玛修正可以调节显示器的亮度(光强)，使其亮度(人所感知的亮度)看起来是正确的。
