About Linux? Unix? Macintosh? Netscape Navigator? Opera? Other Systems
or Browsers?
EE-triever is only available for Windows and Microsoft Internet
Explorer at the moment. Unfortunately, other browsers and platforms
do not include the programming links to support external toolbars.
Right-click in the toolbar area and select the toolbar's label
to turn it on. Or use Explorer's View menu, choose Toolbars, and
select the Maxim EE-triever toolbar.
In the toolbar menu, you want to turn on Maxim EE-triever but
in some systems, the toolbar may be called called "Radio"
(it's an Explorer bug). The last "Radio" choice should
be EE-triever.
Windows 2000, XP Professional, and NT users: You must be logged
on as the Administrator or logged on with Administrator rights
in order to install the Maxim EE-triever Toolbar. You can turn
off these rights once the installation is complete.
Microsoft Internet Explorer decides where the toolbar is installed
but you can rearrange toolbars by sinply dragging their "handles."
See the instructions at http://www.maxim-ic.com/ee-triever/move-toolbar.htm.
Click in the search box and type any term. Press Enter or Return,
or click the Search button. The terms you typed will be fed to the
Maxim search engine and results will appear in the window. This
is the same as using the Search feature on the Maxim site but it's
easier to access.
Click on the EE-triever dog (his name is "Max") to see
a list of popular destinations. Choose a destination and you will
be transported there instantly.
We have tested EE-triever on a very wide variety of systems and
believe it to be very safe. We virus-scan our files. But we cannot
guarantee that it will be bug-free or that it will not cause issues.
To install EE-triever, you must accept an End-User
License Agreement.
EE-triever is free for you to download and use. We are distributing
it to help people access the vast amount of EE design and application
information on the Maxim site.
