Pirooz Parvarandeh
Group President
Pirooz Parvarandeh became Group President in May, 2005. Mr. Parvarandeh joined Maxim in 1987 as a Senior Member of Technical Staff in IC design. He brought Maxim five years of design experience and now holds two patents for IC design. Over the years Mr. Parvarandeh managed several of the Company's design groups and the customer service and distribution organizations. He oversaw the design, development, and marketing activities of many product lines and business units, and was responsible for the Company's entry into several emerging markets. After several advancements, he was named Senior Vice President in December 2004. In his current role as Group President, Mr. Parvarandeh is responsible for the definition, development, manufacturing, and marketing of products for the Core Analog Division, which consists of 6 of the Company's business units. He oversees several support groups at Maxim, including Marketing Communications, Customer Applications, Evaluation (EV) Kits, and the Device Modeling organization. He also oversees the office of the CTO. Mr. Parvarandeh holds BSEE and MSEE degrees from the California Institute of Technology.
